Terms of Service

1. Who can use Frothley

You must be at least 13 years old to use Frothley. By signing up, you confirm you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

You're responsible for your account and for keeping your password safe. Don't share your login, and let us know promptly if you suspect someone else is using your account. You're responsible for activity that happens under it.

3. Your content

You own what you post. By posting, you give Frothley permission to store and display your content to the audience you select for it, as part of running the service. You're responsible for what you share, and you confirm you have the right to share it.

4. Choosing your audience

Frothley lets you post to different circles — Family & Friends, Neighbors, the Public Square, and News. You choose the circle for each post, and it's your responsibility to pick the right one. Posts to the Public Square and News are visible to everyone, so treat them as public.

5. Acceptable use

To keep Frothley a place worth being, you agree not to:

6. Moderation and enforcement

We want to be even-handed and use a light touch. But we may remove content, and suspend or remove accounts, that break these terms or harm the community. People can report posts for review. If your account is suspended, you may not be able to post, comment, or sign in.

7. The service is provided "as is"

We work hard to keep Frothley running well, but we provide it "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or that content posted by others is accurate or appropriate.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Frothley and Geekworks Unlimited won't be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Content posted by users is their responsibility, not ours.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using Frothley and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that violate these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive — like content ownership, disclaimers, and liability — continue to apply afterward.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.

11. Changes

We may update these terms as Frothley evolves. When we make significant changes, we'll update the date above and let you know in the app. Continuing to use Frothley after changes means you accept them.
